No network adapters in device manager windows 7

It showed that I was connected to the LAN but not the internet. I had trouble like this before, but it was either something I could fix by resetting the adapter or the DSL going down.

I checked the Device Manager and, sure enough, there was no Network Adapters heading. Since the MoBo is only about two months old, I want to believe it's not a hardware issue, but is there any other possible explanation? I'm going to RMA this by mid-September if there is no solution by then. I'll furnish any data needed to solve this problem. Thanks for any advice I can get. There are no unknown devices in Device Manager, I have installed all the drivers for all my hardware.

I even downloaded on another computer the newest drivers from MSI's site, including the network adapter driver, which I installed to no avail. There is a setting to disable or enable the LAN, but it's set to 'Enabled. The F12 key is the one with the airplane icon.

That is the name of the wifi adapter when the driver is missing. Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device Message 3 of 8. These are the hardware ids under network controller. Kindly help me to solve this. Message 4 of 8.

It worked. Thanks for your patience.. Message 8 of 8. To fix the problem, try to update the network adapter driver. There are two ways you can update the network adapter driver: manual driver update or automatic driver update. Be sure to choose driver that are only compatible with your variant of Windows 10 or 7. Driver Easy will automatically recognize your system and find the correct drivers for your network adapter, and your Windows version, and it will download and install them correctly :.

Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problem drivers. Or click Update All to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out of date on your system. This requires the Pro version which comes with full support and a day money back guarantee. Or press the key you see next to Save and Exit.

In that case, you need to replace the card with a new one. Hope the tips above help you resolve network adapter missing in Device Manager issue.
